This week I climbed Tepozteco and did some rope flow on top.

Context
I’m starting to get a bit more busy with other interesting projects, so I have less time to devote to 52weeks. Rather than stopping entirely or skipping more weeks, I plan to scale down the scope and still get something out each week.
As part of my mountain climbing mission, I want to film myself doing rope flow on top of each one.
So far I’ve climbed Ajusco:

More mountains to follow.
Process
This week we took a mini break to Tepoztlan, a _pueblo magico _surrounded by jungle and mountains an hour south of Mexico City.
On top of one of the nearby hills is an Aztec temple Tepozteco dedicated to Tepoztecatl, a god of pulque.

It’s a short steep climb to the top through lush rocky jungle.

Luckily we brought chocolatines (pan au chocolate) for a halfway snack.
At the top I recorded a short rope flow with a stunning backdrop.
Learnings
Going down the mountain is just as hard as going up
It’s time to get a haircut
Next steps
Learn some more rope flow tricks so I can show something interesting on top of mountains
Start filming again - perhaps restart my old project Sights and Sounds
